2016 CRESSY DESCENT
September 10th and 11th

Race against the clock down everyone’s favourite track 13!  
This is NOT a downhill specific race, more a timed run down the track. Everyone is encouraged to enter. Doesn’t matter what type of bike you have, AM, XC, DH, HT, BMX or even a unicycle, they all go down hills so turn up and be part of the action.

Full face helmets are recommended but not compulsory, same applies to body armour. Get all your mates together and settle the arguments over who is the fastest. There is cash and prizes to be won.

Both days is $80
Sunday only is $60
Under 15 = HALF PRICE
Day licence costs apply where person does not have MTBA racing membership

prizes in all other categories

Novelty category is for any NON mountain bike.  This could be a BMX, unicycle, tandem, tricycle, e.t.c. You are welcome to ride your normal bike during practice and change to your "Special" bike for racing.

VOLUNTEER TRACK MARSHALS
These races do not happen with out a great crew of volunteers. 

Track Marshals are critical to ensure rider safety. No previous experience is needed. You will be positioned at clearly marked locations along the track and rotated during the day so you will see plenty of action.

All volunteers will be provided with a hi-vis vest, whistle, radio, lunch, drinks & snacks during the day. If your available for a full day please nominate 2 shifts. All volunteers who commit to a full day will be rewarded with a voucher for a free shuttle day which can be given to family or friends if you do not ride. If you volunteer for 2 days you will receive 2 vouchers
